Oak Hill Cemetery
A year after Quantrill’s Raid in 1863, the mayor urged the city to build a new cemetery since most raid victims were buried far from town in Pioneer Cemetery. Early in 1865, the city purchased land for a new rural garden cemetery, landscaped to show interpretations of nature as art.

Memorial Park Cemetery

Maple Grove Cemetery
Maple Grove Cemetery is a modest-sized cemetery in North Lawrence near the Lawrence airport with tombstones dating back to the late 1800s. A small number of burials are still performed there each year.
